RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

MarkyB had a weak Search & Destroy game along with the rest of Millennium during their series against Zealous eSports at CWL Birmingham Day 2, but the rest of his play was still good enough to help Millennium win against Zealous 3-1, scoring a 73/62 KD overall.

MarkyB started things promising enough with a 21/19 KD during the first Hardpoint map, which helped secure a narrow victory on that map. However, MarkyB suffered along with the rest of his team during Search & Destroy, where he would only manage a lowly 3/9 KD as Zealous took advantage of the slump. MarkyB would soon rebound during Uplink, for while his KD was still negative at 18/22, he did manage to put two of Millennium's eight points on the board. MarkyB closed out the series against Zealous with a second Hardpoint map, where he got a chance to shine with a 31/12 KD.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

MarkyB couldn't stay together in the late game as he lost to Fnatic at the CWL Birmingham quarterfinals.

MarkyB didn't make much of an impact in the first half of the series only to slip in a tight second half. Round 4 Hardpoint saw MarkyB score a sub-par 17/22 KD despite his teammate Moose streaking through out the game. His poor performance was mostly visible Round 3 Uplink and in Round 5 Search & Destroy. MarkyB whiffed several throws in a Round 3 Uplink that Millenium lost in overtime. Meanwhile, Round 5 Search & Destroy saw MarkyB somehow kill his teammate Moose with a Trophy System, allowing Fnatic to win the round in an overwhelming teamfight.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

MarkyB had a nice game despite Millenium falling to eUnited 3-2 to open their CWL Dallas run on Friday.

MarkyB and Moose were solid when their teammates were not, especially early on. Millenium struggled in Round 1 Hardpoint, but MarkyB led them and kept them in the game, despite the 18/24 KD ratio. He had over a minute on the hill -- the only member of his team to do so -- and was a strong force despite the loss. He had the final kills in Games 2, 6, and 8 in Round 2 Search & Destroy, refusing to go down 2-0. He continued to lead Millenium, notching 26 kills and blowing open the eUnited defense in Round 3 Uplink. He really struggled in Round 4 Hardpoint, and notched the final kills in Games 1 and 5 in Round 5 Search & Destroy as they dropped the final two rounds and the match.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

MarkyB made little impact in win against Supremacy on Day 1 of CWL Paris.

MarkyB continues to be a decent background player Team Infused, but not great. The first two rounds were very rough for everyone in Team Infused as Peatie and Moose struggled to land their shots. The team's over-reliance on Moose and Peatie to slay was a sizable burden which left MarkyB out in the cold. MarkyB would make a stronger presence in Round 3 Uplink when he got two dunks in the first half, giving his team a sizable lead. The first dunk was a clutch moment since MarkyB rebounded it off of Peatie's air ball. The dunk put away the series for Team Infused.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

MarkyB struggled as Team Infused lost in disappointing fashion to Luminosity Gaming to get eliminated from the losers bracket on Championship Sunday of MLG Atlanta.

MarkyB, much like the rest of Infused, will go home frustrated with their final performance of MLG Atlanta. He had a joint team-high 15 kills in Round 1 Hardpoint, which is not enough as a team and individually. He had a nice double kill to win Game 2 of Round 2 Search & Destroy, but it was not enough to secure a win. He opened up Round 3 Uplink with a dunk, but those were the only points they would score until the last seconds, when the match was already over. It was a frustrating showing overall.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

MarkyB couldn't build enough steam with a 46/52 KD in loss against Splyce on Day 4 of MLG London.

MarkyB, like the rest of Team Infused, was uneven and disorganized in the face of Splyce. There also Team Infused's typical over-reliance on streaks from teammates in order to gain some momentum. Round 1 Hardpoint saw MarkyB pair with Nolson to hit points. MarkyB had some difficulty trying to gain his footing in the early game, but halfway through the round, MarkyB was able to get a four killstreak. It wasn't the killstreak that was important, though. Those four kills from MarkyB allowed him to spawn-trap Splyce. Soon, Team Infused was closing a massive lead that Splyce had built. Unfortunately, MarkyB couldn't take the lead as Splyce won the teamfights. MarkyB's problem with teamfights continued into the next two rounds. Splyce was simply out-gunned Team Infused. MarkyB closed Round 3 Uplink with a 21/20 KD

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

MarkyB was too reliant on the team to make plays with a 69/75 KD against Team Orbit on Day 4 of MLG London.

MarkyB was the wild card for Infused once again in a frustratingly close series. Infused and Team Orbit were so even, in fact, that the series went to a Game 9 in Round 5 Search & Destroy. And what Infused needed was everyone to fire on all cylinders. MarkyB was uneven, at best. Round 1 Hardpoint saw MarkyB go 14/21 KD and a 0:47 time as Infused squeaked out a victory that round. Despite the win, MarkyB gave a poor performance that somewhat fed Orbit. Things fared better in Round 2 Search & Destroy with MarkyB posting 5/7 KD, but Infused was being far too reliant on Moose and Peatie getting streaks. MarkyB stood out far more in Round 3 Uplink with a 23/20 KD and two dunks as Moose and Peatie began to streak. The over-reliance on those two hurt MarkyB and Infused again in Round 4 Hardpoint and Round 5 Search & Destroy. MarkyB closed Round 5 Search & Destroy with an 8/7 KD.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

MarkyB had a nice performance in the 3-1 win over Aware Gaming that advanced Infused in the losers bracket on championship Sunday. He posted a 67/65 KD in the win.

MarkyB opened up the match against Aware with a strange Round 1 Hardpoint. He opened up with a huge amount of hill time that set the tone for the round. He was largely objective-based in a solid three-pronged Infused attack, but he only posted 15 kills. He did not have to engage often, and that is mostly a testament to his teammates play. He had a very solid Round 2 Search & Destroy that saw him post eight kills in the round -- tied for the team lead. He had a nearly dunk in a hard-fought Round 3 Uplink that saw Aware take it 8-6; he played a defensive role in the rather low scoring round. He repeated his Round 1 performance -- this time with more kills -- in Round 4 Hardpoint, spending 1:29 on the objective. He had a nice triple kill to take the scraps of a hill as well. Overall, MarkyB will look to build on this showing.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

MarkyB came out of the gates slow in the final Saturday match of Gfinity London against Fnatic, posting a 40/54 KD,

Despite the sweep win over Fnatic, MarkyB struggled for the majority of the match. He was the clear weak link in the first two rounds. He was bottom of the barrel in kills (17) and Hardpoint time (52 seconds) in Round 1 Hardpoint. He continued the poor play in Round 2 Search & Destroy, posting only two kills -- although one kill did win Game 4. He played solid defense in Round 3 Uplink, getting 21 kills. He also had a dunk in the round. MarkyB will look to build off his final-round performance going forward in the tournament.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

MarkyB ended the 3-1 loss to OpTic Saturday morning with a 61/76 KD.

MarkyB had a slower start to the first round Hardpoint. He ended up being second best on Infused in the round, but that wasn't enough for them to get the win. He had a lowly 19 seconds on Hardpoint time in the round, which set them back quite a bit. He and Infused had a great strategy to really swarm the map and stick together after bomb plants in Round 2 Search & Destroy. He made the play of the game with his activation of Overdrive to flank Scump and secure the 6-3 win. MarkyB was all over the map for his team to shut down OpTic and give his teammates room to maneuver. This only worked to an extent, as OpTic made a furious push in the final minute and a half to nab three dunks and secure the win. MarkyB left a bit to be desired in the Round 4 Capture the Flag. His aim was extremely off the entire time and he didn't help his team at all. Infused is now eliminated from Call of Duty XP 2016.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

MarkyB has awful game against FaZe Clan on Day 2 of Call of Duty XP.

MarkyB can't continue to play like this. Scouring a 34/61 KD across the series, MarkyB needs to become a far more consistent player if Team Infused wants a chance to progress through XP. MarkyB was slammed in Round 1 Hardpoint and Round 2 Search & Destroy because he couldn't land any kills. He ended Round 1 Hardpoint with a weak 17/33 KD, before rolling out of Round 2 Search & Destroy with a 3/6 KD. Those stats reflect MarkyB's weakness in grabbing kills with his teammates, which is crucial in a game like Call of Duty. However, MarkyB did make two dunks in Round 3 Uplink thanks to some quick counter pushes. But the two dunks were little more than band-aids on a fatal wound for MarkyB and Team Infused.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

MarkyB played better than his 66/70 KD.

MarkyB had a very solid performance against Tainted Minds, and was rather consistent throughout. Infused was playing from an extremely deep hole in Round 1 Hardpoint, which saw a lot of their team struggle out of the gate to an 88-8 deficit. However, he ended up with 45 seconds of Hardpoint time -- the second most on his team -- and 27 kills. He was aggressive, but it was too big a hole to climb out of for Infused. He opened up the killing in game two of Round 2 Search & Destroy, and had the final kill in game six. His highlight for the round, however, was an incredible standoff against KillerPi3, which ended with a headshot from the hip, and tied the series one game to one. MarkyB lead his team in kills in Round 3 Uplink with 24, and contributed with points as well. He had an early dunk and base hold to keep map control, and he had a smart time-wasting play by wall-running and throwing the drone off the map. He also had a key dunk to stop the comeback and give Infused a lead they would not lose. He also started the offense in a very slow and defense-based Round 4 Capture the Flag, getting the first flag pull of the round, and pushing the offense in the first half. MarkyB will hope to continue to contribute when Infused enters bracket play.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

MarkyB nearly snatched victory from Team Kaliber with a 80/79 KD on Day 1 of Call of Duty XP.

Despite making a ton of great plays, MarkyB couldn't claw his team ahead of Team Kaliber. Round 1 Hardpoint would wind up setting the stage for the game, with Team Infused just barely losing to Team Kaliber despite some smart plays. MarkyB, for example, was able to break into a late-game Hardpoint that Happy was holding thanks to his Active Camo. However, when the rest of Team Kaliber collapsed in, his team couldn't help secure the point. MarkyB's true strengths shined in Round 2 Search & Destroy, where he scored a massive 12/6 KD that gave him two Overdrives in the round. However, MarkyB couldn't keep up the high momentum and couldn't clutch some late-game kills, such as in Round 5 Search & Destroy and Round 4 Capture the Flag. In Round 4 Capture the Flag, MarkyB would pressure Team Kaliber but wasn't able to help his team on defense, such as in the last seconds of the round when Happy retrieved a dropped flag. Then, in Round 5 Search & Destroy, MarkyB would often get picked off early in each game. MarkyB ended Round 5 Search & Destroy with an 8/8 KD.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

MarkyB ended the semifinal victory over Splyce with a KD of 131/144.

MarkyB got Infused's first Hardpoint points of Round 1, which helped open up the map. He also cut off an early Hardpoint from Splyce, which allowed Infused to take an early lead, which they would not hold. He ended the Round leading Infused with 1:21 of Hardpoint time. He was a factor in the scoring in Round 2 Uplink as well, capping off a nice solo run with a throw-in. He also had the second-highest kill count for his team with 24. MarkyB was all over the map in Round 3 Search & Destroy, where he nearly one Game 1 and won Games 2, 4 and 5 by defusing the bomb. He was a constant thorn in Splyce's side, and was only killed four times in the entire round. MarkyB slowed down in Round 4 Capture the Flag, where he only had 12 kills, but he did open his team's scoring with a flag carry. He really struggled in Round 5 Hardpoint, only amassing 48 seconds on the hill, and posting a below average 26/33 KD. Splyce was solid in this round, however. MarkyB had a slow start to Round 6 Uplink, with a bad miss on an easy throw-in. However, in the second half, he had a few excellent relay plays that really opened up the match, and gave Team Infused a 20-6 round win. In the deciding Round 7 Search & Destroy, his teammates picked up MarkyB's slack since he did not do much in the nail-biting victory.
